Snow Day!
Three inches of snow blanketed Lodi on Friday, Dec. 20th, the last school day in 1968.
The first flurries began about 1:15 a.m., only to melt on contact. Between 2:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m.,
the storm increased and covered the area within a ten mile radius of Lodi and as far south as Merced.
The last snowfall, which occurered in 1962, barely touched
Lodi and sprinkled lightly over the Victor-Clements area. |

Who could forget the lovely swim suits and bathing caps we had to wear for swimming class.
They sure knew how to ruin a hairdo. |
